. . . at Gateway to English
Poles need English for work and school. They know a lot of English grammar, but are eager to find ways to practice their fluency.
Gateway to English was opened Oct. 2005 as a conversational school. You can enjoy teaching here with the help and support of more experienced teachers.
Monthly English nights and discussion nights at GTE give added informal interaction with students and a chance for evangelism.
GTE is now offering summer children’s classes and intensive short-term English classes.
“My students challenged me and
stretched me in ways I had never
before experienced.”
“I’m excited about having my own
group and where these relationships
can go.”
through private tutoring
You can experience one-on-one opportunities through private tutoring. English is a great way to begin building relationships with people.
Through teaching and tutoring, you will have a wonderful opportunity to meet people, to build relationships, and to direct people’s minds to Jesus, the Savior of the world.
“A wonderful opportunity to learn about the Polish people and culture.”
“A great way to build friendships.”

Where?
Country of Poland
Poland is located in Central Europe. The country threw off communism in 1989, and joined the European Union on May 1, 2004. Poland is orienting itself more toward the western world and consequently has a high demand for English language instruction.
Many young people are becoming disillusioned with their religion, and are re-examining their personal beliefs.
Poles are very religious and traditional, but few know Jesus as their personal Saviour.
